This early preview uses manual installation. Its notebook stays in this browser and is separate from your website and mobile tracking. Saving a sweep does not mark it as entered.

  1. Unzip into a folder you will keep.
  2. Open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Choose Load unpacked and select that folder. Pin Broom from the Extensions menu.

Firefox

Desktop 140+ · temporary preview

  1. Unzip the download.
  2. Open about:debugging and select This Firefox.
  3. Choose Load Temporary Add-on, then select manifest.json in the folder.

Firefox removes temporary extensions when it restarts. Export your notebook before changing installations. A permanent release needs Mozilla signing.

Safari

Safari needs an app packaged and signed on a Mac with Xcode. This download contains the shared extension source and packaging instructions, not an installable Safari app.

Safari and iPhone/iPad extension behavior have not been tested. Follow the included README and Apple’s packaging guide.

A helpful start, with you in control.

  1. Add your details under Contact card & saved sweeps.
  2. Read the sponsor’s official rules, including eligibility, entry limits and whether form assistance is allowed.
  3. Open Broom on the entry page. Save the sweep or review the fields you want to fill.
  4. Check the finished form, complete your choices, and submit it yourself. Then record your confirmed entry in SweepFeed.

What to know about the preview

  • No account sync, automatic entries or background browsing. Export saves your sweep notebook, not your contact card.
  • Broom preserves existing values and skips passwords, payment details, consent, CAPTCHA and unsupported fields.
  • Embedded forms and some custom fields may need manual entry. Broom checks the main page after your click.
  • Local storage is not an encrypted vault. Filling shares the selected details with the page, which may process them before submission. Use a trusted browser profile and sponsor page.
