Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about SweepFeed, sweepstakes, quality scoring, and DustBunnies rewards.
General
What is SweepFeed?
SweepFeed is a sweepstakes discovery board that organizes active giveaways with clearer prize details, deadlines, quality signals, and links back to the sponsor's official rules. The goal is to reduce clutter, not pretend every listing is a guaranteed win.
Is SweepFeed free to use?
Yes. You can browse the sweepstakes board for free. Ads and optional DustBunny unlocks keep the app running while everyone gets access to the sweepstakes tools.
How does SweepFeed make money?
SweepFeed generates revenue through non-intrusive advertising, optional DustBunny unlocks, and partnerships with sweepstakes sponsors. We never charge entry fees, and some users can explicitly opt in to let SweepFeed remember a saved charity for a company-funded share of eligible settled ad revenue.
Trust & Safety
Are the sweepstakes on SweepFeed legitimate?
SweepFeed checks listings for quality signals such as official rules, clear eligibility, deadline freshness, prize clarity, and obvious red flags. You should still confirm every entry on the sponsor's official rules page before submitting information.
How does SweepFeed verify sweepstakes are real?
SweepFeed shows named evidence checks for sponsor identity, official rules, entry-page health, eligibility, purchase requirements, deadline support, claim consistency, and freshness. Unknown or conflicting facts stay visible as unknown or conflicting. These checks are not a legal certification or endorsement.
Are online sweepstakes legit in general?
Many online sweepstakes are legitimate, especially those from recognizable brands. Legitimate sweepstakes should have clear official rules, specify eligibility requirements, and explain how entry works without asking you to pay just to participate. Red flags include requests for payment, sensitive personal data (SSN, bank info), or pressure to act immediately. SweepFeed helps organize sponsor details, rules links, and freshness signals, but you should still make the final call on the sponsor's page.
Features & Evidence
How do SweepFeed's evidence checks work?
SweepFeed reports eight checks separately so a filled-in field cannot hide a contradiction. Passed, conflicting, and unknown states stay distinct. Use them to compare listings faster, then verify the sponsor's rules before entering.
How often are sweepstakes listings updated?
The active feed is refreshed regularly, and expired listings are removed when their deadlines are detected. If a sponsor changes rules or closes an entry page early, the sponsor's official rules remain the source of truth.
Can I filter sweepstakes by category or prize type?
Yes. SweepFeed offers filtering by category (Cash, Electronics, Travel, Gift Cards, Vehicles, Food & Drink, and more), plus recommended, prize-value, ending-date, and newest sorting. You can also search by title, sponsor, or prize description. Browsing and these filters are free.
DustBunnies & Rewards
What are DustBunnies?
DustBunnies are SweepFeed's in-app reward currency. You only earn them when the server records an eligible reward event. Likes, saves, shares, profile edits, and other client-declared activity do not earn DustBunnies unless the app explicitly says so. They unlock in-app perks and cosmetics, but they have no cash value.
How does the charity feature work?
You can save a charity to your profile and explicitly opt in if you want SweepFeed to remember it for a company-funded share of eligible settled ad revenue. That setting is not your tax-deductible donation, pre-settlement amounts are only estimates, DustBunnies have no cash value, and Every.org handles any direct donation and receipt separately.
Are referral rewards live right now?
Not right now. SweepFeed can still track referral invite attribution, but new referral DustBunny payouts are currently disabled until the live in-app referral contract says otherwise.
How can I increase my chances of winning sweepstakes?
Enter consistently, follow each sponsor's rules precisely, prioritize contests with clear terms and prizes you actually want, and keep a dedicated sweepstakes email. No tool can guarantee a win; SweepFeed helps you spend less time sorting the board.
