These guidelines cover everything members share on SweepFeed, on the web and in the app: comments and replies on sweepstakes, public names, profile photos, bios, and win stories. They are part of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
SweepFeed has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. If you post it, we remove it, and we remove people who keep posting it.
1. Conduct Rules
When you post or set up your profile, do not:
- Harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or demean anyone
- Post hate speech, slurs, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age
- Post sexual content, nudity, or sexual comments about anyone
- Threaten or encourage violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- Post spam, ads, referral or affiliate links, chain messages, or the same comment over and over
- Share personal information, yours or anyone else's: email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or account details
- Impersonate SweepFeed staff, a sponsor, or another person, or pick a name that looks official
- Run scams: fake winner notices, "pay to claim your prize" offers, or requests for money or codes
- Post false win claims or misleading information about a promotion
- Post anything involving anyone under 18; SweepFeed is for adults only
Keep comments about the sweepstakes: whether a listing worked for you, tips about the sponsor's entry page, or a heads-up that a promotion has ended.
2. What Gets Removed
- Before it is posted: every comment and edit is checked by automated filters. Abusive or profane comments are refused. Comments with links, email addresses, phone numbers, codes, or claims of being under 18 are held for a moderator to review and are visible only to you until approved.
- Public names and bios with profanity, slurs, or names that could pass as SweepFeed staff are refused when you save them. A stored name that fails these checks is shown on comments as a neutral label instead.
- Profile photos are scanned before they are accepted.
- Win stories are reviewed by a person before anyone else can see them.
- After it is posted: anything that breaks these rules is removed when it is reported or found. A comment reported by several members is hidden automatically until a moderator reviews it.
3. How to Report or Block
- Report a comment: tap Report under the comment and choose a reason.
- Report a person: open their profile and choose Report User from the menu.
- Block someone: tap Block under any of their comments, or choose Block User on their profile. Comments from people you block are hidden from you, and yours are hidden from them while they're signed in. Blocking also ends any contact connection and pending message requests between you.
- Unblock: in the app, go to Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Blocked Users.
- Email: you can always report a problem to support@sweepfeed.com, with a link or screenshot if you can.
You need a free account to report or block, so that each report is tied to a real member and cannot be spammed. Reports are confidential: the person you report is not told who reported them.
4. Our 24-Hour Review Commitment
We review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these guidelines, we remove it and act on the account that posted it. Urgent threats to someone's safety may also be referred to law enforcement.
5. Consequences
Depending on how serious the violation is and whether it has happened before, we may:
- Remove the content
- Send a warning
- Turn off commenting for the account
- Suspend the account temporarily
- Permanently remove the account and forfeit its DustBunnies
Threats, hate speech, sexual content involving anyone, and scams can lead to permanent removal on the first offense. Creating a new account to get around a suspension or ban leads to permanent removal of every account involved.
6. Appeals
If you think we made a mistake, email support@sweepfeed.com within 30 days. Include your public name, what was removed or what action was taken, and why you think it was wrong.
