How SweepFeed reviews sweepstakes listings
SweepFeed is an independent discovery and information service. SweepFeed does not sponsor, administer, judge, operate, select winners for, or accept entries for third-party promotions. Information submitted on a sponsor's website goes to that sponsor or its service provider, not to SweepFeed.
Each listing detail page shows the result of eight checks, including unknown results. A separate official-rules link appears when a usable rules URL is available. This page explains each check, what is withheld when evidence is missing, how automation is used, and how to ask for a correction.
How a listing reaches SweepFeed
SweepFeed's software finds promotions on sponsors' websites and public sweepstakes directories, and sponsors can submit their own. When it can find a rules document, the software fetches it. Automated extraction, including AI language models, reads available rules for the sponsor, deadline, eligibility, entry method, and prize details. If rules identity cannot be confirmed, the rules check remains unknown.
Details are published with the results of the checks below. When a detail is not supported by the evidence, the listing withholds it or labels it as unverified instead of guessing.

Otherwise: The listing says the rules identity is unverified, or the rules claim is withheld.
Sponsor identified

Passes when: A named sponsor is recorded for the promotion.
Otherwise: The listing says the sponsor is not confirmed.
Promotion URL responded

Passes when: A checked URL for this promotion returned HTTP 200–399. The status does not prove that an entry form accepts submissions.
Otherwise: The listing shows when the HTTP response is unrecorded or the latest request returned an error.
Deadline supported

Passes when: The stored deadline agrees with a quote from the official rules.
Otherwise: The deadline is withheld or labeled unverified.
No conflicting details

Passes when: Automatic cross-checks found no conflict among the stored details.
Otherwise: Conflicting values are withheld, and the listing says a conflict was found or not yet checked.
Eligibility captured

Otherwise: The listing sends readers to the official rules for eligibility.
No purchase necessary

Otherwise: A purchase requirement is flagged, or the status is labeled unconfirmed.
Checked in the last 7 days

Passes when: The listing was re-verified within the last 7 days.
Otherwise: The listing shows the last check date and says a refresh is overdue.
These checks cover the stored details of a listing. They do not validate every statement in a summary or in the sponsor's rules, and they cannot tell you your odds of winning.
Official rules control
SweepFeed summaries are informational. If a SweepFeed listing conflicts with a sponsor's official rules, the official rules control. Prize values, deadlines, eligibility, entry limits, alternate methods of entry, and winner obligations may change. Review the sponsor's current official rules before entering.
No sponsorship claim
Listing a sweepstakes does not mean SweepFeed sponsors, administers, endorses, or is affiliated with that promotion. Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
No purchase necessary
SweepFeed should not present purchases as required for sweepstakes entry unless the sponsor's official rules clearly describe a lawful free alternate method of entry. Any misleading listing can be reported for correction.
Paid placements
Paid placements are labeled Sponsored. Payment may affect placement or visibility, but it cannot buy better evidence or confidence labels, suppress factual corrections, risk warnings, or legitimate user reports, keep an expired listing active, or prevent quarantine or removal. How advertising works on SweepFeed.
Corrections and takedowns
Sponsors, rights holders, or users can request corrections, delisting, or takedown review. Use the Report button on any listing, the contact form, or email support@sweepfeed.com. Copyright notices go through the DMCA page. We may remove listings that are expired, misleading, unsafe, infringing, or inconsistent with platform policy.
